6.45 a.m. Meet at Shell Station, BTS Udomsuk and leave for Chanthaburi. 11.00 a.m. Arrive at Klong Phakdi Rampai Floodgate, a royal initiative project for flood prevention. 11.45 a.m. Arrive at the gemstone market to see how sellers and buyers do their gem business.

12.30 p.m. Walk to Chantaboon Waterfront Community. Have lunch at Auntie Noi’s, a local noodle restaurant. 1.30 p.m. Make Thai madeleine at Auntie Tai’s shop, the best place for yummy madeleine. Then, visit Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, one of the most beautiful Catholic churches in Thailand. 2.00 p.m. Go the Old Town Chantaboon Waterfront Learning Centre to learn the history of this old riverine community. 4.00 p.m. Visit the house no. 119, an old gemstone shop to learn how to cut gemstones.

5.00 p.m. Check into Baan Luang Rajamaitri Historic Inn. 6.00 p.m. Have dinner at Chanthorn Restaurant, a famous restaurant in Chanthaburi. 7.30 p.m. Go back to the hotel and enjoy leisure time.

6.00 a.m. Wake up early to offer food to monks, a way of making merit in Buddhism. (optional) 8.00 a.m. Have breakfast. 9.00 a.m. Worship the City Pillar Shrine and King Taksin’s Shrine. 10.00 a.m. Visit Kung Krabaen Bay Royal development Study Center to learn clownfish breeding, the crab bank project and mangrove forest preservation.

12.00 p.m. Enjoy lunch. 2.00 p.m. Visit Nern Nang Phaya Viewpoint to enjoy a beautiful view of the road running along the coast of Kung Wiman Beach.

6.00 p.m. Arrive in Bangkok.

With the contribution of income and standard of living via tourism, the community of Chanthaboon riverfront realizes the importance of their historical buildings and architectures; hence these are their tourist attractions. The community has later successfully established a new social enterprise business, "Baan Luang Rajamaitri Historic Inn", a balance point between historical architecture preservation and contemporary hospitality service.
