Ban Ko Klang is located not very far from the city. It is charming for its laid-back country lifestyle. Roam around with your tricycle to taste the freshest local seafood or learn how to make roti. Have fun tie-dying batik or basically go fishing or collecting clams as a fisherman’s friend. Grind and winnow rice the old school way. Sit in a coffee shop and have a chat with the locals. This sufficient and peaceful life path of Ban Ko Klong is not to be missed.

After the first 5 minutes of the boat ride, you will see how people still remain their local way of life which is totally different from the city. Roam around the island, not far away from the town, where you can find the unique traditional way of life while riding a tricycle.

  • Set sail to the Andaman sea, and go swimming near the 4 islands.
  • Buy local products such as a long-tail boat model, Patae and batik fabric, and high quality Sangyod rice.
  • Learn basic of local fisheries and try collect shellfish in Ko Klang’s style

3 Days 2 Nights Program 14.00-20.00 on the first day/7.30-19.00 on the second day/6.30-13.30 on the third day Day 1 Late afternoon: Sawaddee…Kidthung Cottage Check in here and hop on a tricycle. Ride around and let yourself be charmed by the local life style of Ko Klang. The tricycle is a must, if you do not take one, you have not really made it to the island. - See how the people build long-tail boat models and real long-tail boats. - Sangyod Rice, rice from Pattalung province is also famous here in Ko Klang. - Wooden rice mills can still be seen here in Ko Klang. - See the art of Patae and Batik painting. - See the kite contest and collections of local kites in Ban Waw. (If you are lucky, you will get to see the kites contest which only takes place there 1-2 times a year.)

Have fine local cuisine for dinner and stay at Kidthung Cottage for a night in the comfort of a lovely renovated house.

Have delicious local breakfast to recharge your energy before setting sail in a private long-tail boat to the famous 4 islands of Krabi. We will provide you diving masks, lunch, snacks, fruits, and drinks. 1-4 guests group will get to see the beautiful Andaman with new fellows in a joined boat.

Travel back to Kidthung Cottage. Take a shower and relax.

Have fine local dinner

Early morning: Wake up a little bit early and go seek shellfish like Ko Klang people do before having delicious local breakfast. Late morning: Learn how to cook shellfish simply delicious. If you arrive on Friday or Sunday, you can see the red-whiskered bulbuls contest.

Fill your stomach with some tasty shellfish dish. After that, pack your bags, and get ready to go home – hope to see you again. The program and schedule may be subjected to change due to weather, tidal current and safety reasons for your best experience
